Gastric Problems - Natural Home Remedies to Cure Acidity, Acid Reflux, Heartburn and Gastritis

Gastritis is an inflammation of the lining of the stomach, which manifests as a cramping in the stomach, a feeling of the belly being on fire, being bloated, nausea and vomiting.
If you look at the reasons why gastritis occurs, they are mainly bad eating habits and bad choices of food. Eating at erratic hours or just before bedtime, overindulgence in spicy and oily food, excessive intake of tea, coffee and alcohol, can all trigger gastritis.

Take a handful of basil, or tulsi leaves.
Wash them very well.
Blend them with ½ cup of water.
Add a generous pinch of rock salt, or kala namak.
Have this 2-3 times a day.

In 1 tlbsp of honey, add 1 tsp of lime juice.
Add a big pinch of pepper powder.
Have this a couple of times in a day.

Take 1 cup of thin buttermilk.
Add a pinch of turmeric, or haldi, and a pinch of asafetida, or hing.
Mix in about ¼ tsp of the powder of fenugreek seeds.
Drink this at night for symptom relief.

Take a small piece of fresh ginger.
Wash well and grate it.
Mix it in ½ cup of water and ½ cup of water.
Boil till it is reduced to half.
Cool, strain and drink.

These are measures to cure gastritis, but it is essential to look at measures to prevent gastritis, which can lead to serious health issues if it becomes chronic.

Drink plenty of water, but avoid drinking water with food.

So eat at regular intervals, and cut down the spice and oil in your diet if your stomach cannot stomach it.
